I am anxious to get started on the next book 💖📚💖. Things were unexplained or not followed up and some characters are described at the beginning of the book one way and totally different at the end. Jacob Jankowski, now over ninety years old, looks back on that time of desperation, cruelty and prejudice, but at the same time, he recalls a magical atmosphere, the animals, the larger-than-life circus population, love, and, of course, a special elephant named Rosie. always called Pappy first when they needed a lead trumpet player, so when the film studios asked them which musicians they should hire, Pappy was on the top of the list. As human readers (and one talented human writer), we are limited by a linear view of time. The cabbie himself ends up remembering the reason he fought and the horrors he faced, and then decides to rejoin the Force to make a difference. This book truly brought CINEMA OF THE MIND to life. This book does not disappoint, and I will be recommending it to my readers. And he ignores anything that might contradict what his "friends" tell him.
