The setting is in Monterey, California, just after World War I. This leaves almost all the Arab characters as one dimensional except those who actively assist the English characters. . What happened to the Laundry Files. They're comic book-like but are FILLED with scientific information told in a manner that is understandable but is easily understood. James and "Divine Science and Healing" by Malinda E. 'No desire to re-read this story or follow the series. Tons of useful info. There are also nice review chapters of different body systems before the chapters on the drugs for the different body systems. What could be better. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand in a very personal way the life of an actor and a man of courage.
